(Mr. Mitchum: “I’ll tell you what I’d like to do, folks. I’ve got a little number here that I think’s very nice, and it’s called ‘Bill Cheetum.’ ‘Course, I’m gonna sing you one, too, before I leave. You know, all these news reporters here, Jimmy, you’re used to them, and I’m not. That makes a lot of difference, doesn’t it?”
Mr. Driftwood: “You’ll get used to it, Johnny.”
Mr. Mitchum: “Here’s my old friend Mr. Wolf. I knew him down in college, Arkansas College, didn’t I? He’s a good old boy, old hillbilly like myself--good boy, though. Say, get up here right close to me, now, and we’ll just start in on that. ‘Old Bill Cheetum.’)
