Old man went out to the barn
To feed them pigs and get a little corn.

Chorus: Sing whop-a-doey-doey
Dem whop-a-doey-doey, demma di-de-o.

He heard a pig squeal and he turned around;
There laid a pig right flat on the ground.

He turned around to help the pig up;
The old sow jumped on him and like to et him up.

Sal and Kate spinning by the fire,
Oh, run and get the camphor.

Rub a little on and a little for the smell.
Oh, yes, it a-getting nearly well.
