November 22, 2005
November has once again been a very busy month for our members. We started off the month with a kirkin' in Pine Bluff. Kenton and I attended the EUSPBA AGM in Albany, New York the weekend of the 12-13th. In addition to the meeting, an informative seminar was held that weekend for ensemble, presented by Jack Lee and Reid Maxwell of the Grade I Simon Fraser University Pipe Band.
We repeated our last year's appearance at half-time of the Lyon-Arkansas
State University basketball game in Jonesboro on the 16th. Again we were big hit with
the home crowd over there.
Besides several solo events we had our first World's practice, with all the members attending. A lot of hard work is ahead of us.
I attended a Celtic cross dedication in Hot Springs over the weekend of 20-21. Claudia Marsh took some pictures and we'll post some soon.
Thanksgiving is just around the corner and a needed break for all.
